Vereshchagin, grandfather I.V.Babin and A.U.Orlov; at Imperial Academy of Arts in 1857-1861. Active in St. Petersburg (in France and Italy in 1863-1869). Began exhibiting in 1860. Member of MOLKh. Exhibited with Society of Russian Watercolorists; St. Petersburg Society of Artists. Taught at the Imperial Academy of Arts in 1869-1894. Also a church muralist, theatre artist. Died in St. Petersburg in 1909. |
