Mychajlo Andriyovych Berkos was born in 1861 in Odesa. Landscape painter. Graduated from Odesa Art School in 1877 and St. Petersburg Academy of Art (1878- 1889). From 1890 participated in exhibitions of the Association of Peredvyzhnyky. From 1904 taught at Kharkiv Art School. Participated in Kharkiv annual exhibitions of the Association of Peredvyzhnyky. Died in Kharkiv in 1919.
