 | Marina SKUGAREVA 1962 — Марина Вадимівна СКУГАРЄВА • Марина Вадимовна СКУГАРЕВАMarina Skugareva was born in Kyiv in 1962. In 1974 she entered the T.H.Shevchenko Republican Art School. In 1981 Skugareva graduated from the Dagestan Art College by the name of Dzhemala. In 1982-1988 she studied at the Lviv State Art Institute, department of textile. She married an artist Oleg Tistol in 1988. Same year Skugareva moved to Moscow where she became part of a “Furmenny Pereulok” group. In 1992 Skugareva received a grant from Christoph Merian Stiftung and moved to Basel where she worked for a year. Since 1993 the artist lives and works in Kyiv. |
