Pasternak’s studio-school in Moscow and with A.E.Yakovlev in New Art Studio, Petrograd in 1914-1917; at A. Exter studio in Kyiv in 1917-1920; at Moscow VkhuTeMas in 1920-1922. Active in Moscow and Odessa until 1917; Kyiv in 1917-1920; Moscow from 1920. Member of Projectionists; Izobrigada 1931-1932. Also an exhibition designer from 1930s; chief artist of Polytechnic Museum, Moscow, 1930s; chief artist of All Union Agricultural Exhibition 1936-1941. Decorated festivals in Kyiv in 1917-1920. Highly regarded young painter in the 1920s. Died in Moscow in 1965. |
