Landscape painter. Studied at the private drawing school of M. Muraschko in Kyiv (1876-1880), St. Petersburg Art Academy and later at Munich Art Academy. Many of scenic landscapes by Wzhesch later became illustrations for postcards. The artist lived and worked in Kyiv.
