Kamenev Lev Lvovich - Russian artist, member of the “Mobile art group” (“Peredvizhniki”), master of realistic landscape. Kamenev studied in Moscow College of art, sculpture and architecture in the studio of Aleksey Kondratyevich Savrasov in 1854-1857 and became an academic in 1869. In his landscape paintings he depicted ponds, forests, streams producing realistic paintings with unearthly charm and shy sorrow. Kamenev is one of the greatest Russian landscape artists of the second half of the XIX century.
