Boris ORLOV 1941 — Борис ОРЛОВ • Борис Константинович ОРЛОВBoris Konstantinovich Orlov was born in Khimki, Moscow region in 1941. He is a contemporary artist, representative of sots-art movement. He studied at the Moscow Higher Applied Arts College (МВХПУ), department of monumental-decorative sculpture in 1960-1966. Member of the USSR Artists’ Union since 1975. Orlov was one of the founders of art happenings at the House of Culture at Artists’ House at Kuznetsky Bridge during 1976-1986. The artist had a solo exhibition at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in 2008. |
