Studied at St. Petersburg Art Academy as a non-enrolled students in 1896-1901; in the studio of Vladimir Makovsky, where he was one of the most talented students; St. Petersburg Art Academy as an enrolled student in 1904-1912. Active in St. Petersburg. Member of Itinerants from 1916. Exhibited with Itinerants in 1916-1918. Later he participated in the exhibitions that reflected the new way of life in the Soviet era. Died in Moscow in 1939. |
