Alexander Klymenko was born in Luhansk, Ukraine in 1963. He studied at the Kyiv Art Institute, department of monumental painting. Klymenko`s works are reminiscent of Gustav Klimt. The artist says his art is part of an "intellectual program" he calls "New Ethic Ecology" whose goals are humanism, creation and optimism. The artist lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
