Yuri Nikolaevich Yegorov was born in Tsaritsyn in 1926. Studied at Repin Institute in 1949-1953; Leningrad Higher Arts and Crafts College in 1953-1955. Active in Odessa. Began exhibiting in 1955. Taught at Odessa Art College in 1956-1957. Also known as a monumentalist artist. Last exhibition of Yegorov took place at The Chambers Gallery, London on February 2 – 28, 2006.
