Alexei KOSTROMA 1962 — Олексій КОСТРОМА • Алексей КОСТРОМАAlexei Kostroma was born in Kostroma, Russia in 1962. He graduated from the Academy of Arts (Repin Institute), Department of Painting, Leningrad (Saint-Petersburg) in 1989. The artist
founded the "TUT-I-TAM" Group (in cooperation with Nadia Bukreeva) in 199. The aim of the group is to develop the concept of "inventorying". Kostroma numerated natural objects and introduced the notion of "introspective action". In 1992 the artist developed the idea of “feathering”. Among other projects, the artist produced the action called "The Feathering of Names Symbols” in 1994 and developed a theory of "The Spiral-Driven Development of Colour" in 1997.
