Fedor Zotevich (Zotovich) Konovalyuk was born in Kalivtsi, Vynnytsa province, Ukraine in 1890. Studied in art studio of Pecherska Lavra in Kyiv; at the Kyiv Art College (1915); at St. Petersburg Art Academy briefly in 1910; at Kyiv Art Institute until 1927. Active in Kyiv. Important shows include “All Union Art Exhibition” Moscow, (1946, 1951). Konavalyuk was also an illustrator. Died in 1984.
