 | Dmitry VRUBEL 1960 —Дмитро ВРУБЕЛЬ • Дмитрий ВРУБЕЛЬDmitry Vrubel was born in Moscow in 1960. Started taking painting classes at the age of 15. Became a member of the artists’ union in 1983. In 1986 founded the Vrubel Gallery. Moved to Berlin in 1990, where he worked on the street. There the artist painted a large painting on the Berlin Wall about the love of the girl from Leningrad. Dmitry Vrubel depicts “Russian people” in his paintings. The artist lives and works in Moscow. |
