Mania MAVRO was born in Odessa in Ukraine in 1889. She settled in France and worked in Paris. Mavro expressed her art with a powerful personality, drawing and painting landscapes, nudes, female dancers, flowers bouquets with a sculptural strength and a rich and generous palette. She died in 1969.
