Yevgeniy Fiks was born in Moscow in 1972. Graduated from Moscow Art College in 1991. Studied for two years at the Surikov Art Institute, Moscow in 1991-1993. Immigrated to the United States of America in 1994. Graduated from the Brooklyn College, New York, B.F.A. (1995-1997). Graduated from the School of Visual Arts, New York, M.F.A. (1997-1999). Actively exhibits in New York and abroad. The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
